Garner Planning, acting as agent for the property owners, has secured planning permission to replace an existing 1960’s/70’s dwelling with a larger eco Passivhaus. The new dwelling will have fine views down Derwent Water to Borrowdale. The new dwelling has been designed by EcoArc, an architectural practice based in Kentmere.
In 2020 Garner Planning obtained confirmation from Allerdale Borough Council that the proposed conversion of a farm building was permitted development (i.e. Part Q).
