Part Q followed by Full Planning PermissionFebruary 2nd, 2021 | Posted by in News
In 2020 Garner Planning obtained confirmation from Allerdale Borough Council that the proposed conversion of a farm building was permitted development (i.e. Part Q). In 2021 full planning permission was secured for the conversion with additional works (not falling within Part Q) to achieve an exemplar Passivhaus eco standard. The additional features include PV panels, wood stove flue, and air source heat pump.
The design was undertaken by the highly respected eco architects EcoArc based in Kentmere.
