Replacement Dwelling

December 31st, 2018 | Posted by Chris Garner in News

Garner Planning, working with EcoArc, has secured planning permission for the demolition of a large detached  dwelling built in the early 19th Century and replacement with a new Passivhaus standard dwelling, in the Newlands Valley within the Lake District National Park.

The new house is a low carbon, eco-dwelling, heated by passive solar gain and an air source heat pump. Domestic hot water is heated by using roof integrated photovoltaic panels and will produce site derived renewable electrical energy from the south facing roof.
