National Park local occupancy condition removed

September 5th, 2019 | Posted by Chris Garner in News

The Lake District National Park Authority have a long standing commitment to local occupancy conditions for all new dwellings and resist nearly all attempts to remove such conditions. In an unusual and exceptional circumstance LDNPA agreed to remove a local employment and main residence condition from a planning permission for two dwellings granted in the early 1980’s. Garner Planning acted for the property owner.

If you have an historic planning permission for residential development in the National Park and seek advice on whether occupancy conditions can be removed or amended please give Chris Garner a call.
