Local Occupancy Restriction Removed

December 18th, 2020 | Posted by Chris Garner in News

Garner Planning has secured the remove a S106 legal agreement restriction a dwelling to local occupancy. Copeland Borough Council granted consent in 2005 requiring the dwelling to be occupied by persons from a single parish. The planning authority agreed that the restriction was extremely onerous and that their planning policies had changed and no longer supported such a restriction.

If you have a local occupancy restriction and wish to understand if it is likely that it can be removed or amended give Chris Garner a call on 01539 734365.
