South Lakeland District Council’s Planning Committee members are to be applauded for their vision in granting planning permission for the residential development at Hincaster of 22 dwellings.

Whilst planning officers considered a residential development at the former poultry farm was not acceptable, members, following a site visit, granted outline planning permission for residential development on the 6.6 acre site.

Egg Homes have been complimented by the Planning Committee for the innovative housing scheme subsequently granted reserved matters consent.

Garner Planning acted for the landowners in securing the outline planning permission in 2014 and wish Egg Homes every success with the development over the next couple of years.
